Material Introduction: PA6 BALING CHEMICAL YH800 is a medium‑viscosity general‑purpose injection‑molding PA6 resin. It features good flowability and easy‑processing performance, together with favorable mechanical strength, wear resistance, chemical resistance and electrical insulation. Due to its hygroscopic nature, strict drying is required before processing.

Main Applications

Injection molding: General injection‑molded parts, such as gears for precision machinery, housings, hoses, oil‑resistant containers, cable sheaths and textile equipment components.

Fiber spinning: For monofilament and bristle filament production.

Engineering plastic modification: Base resin for modification such as flame‑retardant compounding.

Electronic & electrical: Electrical coils, cable connectors, switches and other electronic‑electrical components benefiting from excellent insulation performance.

Injection Molding Parameters

Processing Item Recommended Range / Condition Notes & Explanations
Drying Treatment Hot‑air drying at 80‑100 ℃ for at least 4‑6 h; vacuum drying preferred. Critical operation. Keep moisture ≤0.1% (raw material moisture<0.07%) to avoid hydrolysis, bubbles, silver streaks and strength drop. Use immediately after drying or seal properly for heat preservation.
Melt Temperature 230‑280 ℃ general range. Depends on equipment and articles. Melting point 215‑220 ℃. Avoid temperature>300 ℃ and long high‑temperature residence to prevent degradation & discoloration.
Mold Temperature 60‑80 ℃ for most parts. Mold temperature affects crystallinity; proper mold temperature ensures good appearance and performance for YH800.
Injection Pressure 60‑100 MPa, adjust per product & mold design. Low‑viscosity PA6 with good flowability yet fast cooling; adjust according to structure and wall‑thickness.
Injection Speed Medium‑high speed. Faster speed facilitates cavity filling.
Back Pressure 0.5‑1.0 MPa (5‑10 kgf/cm²). Proper back‑pressure homogenizes melt and improves venting.
Screw Speed Medium speed. Prevent excessive shear heat build‑up.
Runner & Gate Runner and gate dimensions shall not be too small. PA6 solidifies fast; sufficiently large gate ensures smooth filling.
Shutdown Notice Purge barrel with PE / PP of good thermal stability on pause or shutdown to prevent carbonization of residual PA6; turn off heating system for long‑term shutdown.
Molding Shrinkage 0.93%‑1.30% (typical for YH800). Subject to process parameters and product design.
